What to Expect
We’re a quiet little German town, with red brick buildings nestled in rolling hills along the Missouri River.
Although the area is well known for vineyards, there are a growing number of distilleries in the area, several of which are listed on the Missouri Spirits Expedition.
Each whiskey trail ticket includes a tasting at 6 participating stops:
- Black Shire Distillery
- Copper Mule Distillery
- Fernweh Distilling Co.
- Hermann Farm Distillery
- Lionheart Whiskey Co.
- Polly’s Still

Tickets Are Limited
Ticket sales are limited for our first-ever Hermann Whiskey Trail! Join us for a fun-filled tour around the local distilleries and taste spirits of Missouri. Make a weekend of your adventure and enjoy shopping, unique dining, and relaxation in our tiny German town.

Black Shire
Bourbon, Rye,
Blackberry & Blended
Straight bourbon whiskey and high rye whiskeys aged 3+ years. Corn whiskey with all-natural blackberry juice and a blend of aged high corn whiskey and 2 year straight whiskey.
Copper Mule
Small Batch & Single Barrel
100% Missouri Straight Bourbon Whiskey distilled, aged, and bottled on site. All corn sourced locally from the family century farm.
Fernweh
Single Barrel Bourbon, Straight Rye, & Specialty Corn Spirit
Batch grains come from Missouri and Mid-America and are harvested from a single barrels which have never been chill filtered.
Hermann Farm
Barrel Strength & Limited Edition Whiskeys
Explore and learn about the buildings on Hermann Farm, including the recreated Rasche family homestead, brandy cellar, and aging barn
Lionheart
Small Batch & Single Barrel
Five years or older 51% rye mashbill curated, proofed, and bottled in the restored historic Nasse building at the corner of 3rd and Schiller. Three barrel blends or single barrels selected for unique and premium flavors.

Cozy Historic Experience
Vintage style spirits beside a historical garden in the “First Settlement Village” at Hermann Farm.

Plan Your Stay
Extend your day and stay the night at one of the many guest suites, bed and breakfasts, or hotels. Turn it into a weekend getaway and enjoy fine dining, a casual bit to eat, or dig in at a dive. Shop ‘til you drop or browse a few antiques or museums in between whiskey stops.

Trail Dates
Hermann Whiskey Trail 2023
Trail dates are announced each spring for the year. Tickets go on sale approximately 8-10 weeks in advance.

Join us for the first-ever Hermann Whiskey Trail! Visit six stops across two days and enjoy a tasting at each. Tickets include free rides on the Hermann Trolley between stops both days and a commemorative glass if you register early (by May 21st). Snacks will be...
